Please read the entire course welcome letter! Thanks!
We are looking forward to a great course Mon-Thurs, November 4-7, 2019.
DIRECTIONS and VISITOR PARKING
Directions to the Friday Center and instructions for parking (and other helpful information) can be viewed here. A few days before the course you will receive a parking pass via email. Please print the parking pass and place it on your dashboard. Please note: After turning onto Friday Center Drive from Hwy 54, take the SECOND turn on the right for visitor parking. (The first turn on the right is the employee commuter lot and you will be ticketed if you park there.) Here’s an explanatory map about parking.

COURSE WEB PAGE:
A web page is available to course participants where the lecture handouts are posted (you can print them before the course if you like, or access them with your laptop or ipad or phone during the course), as well as additional resources. The slide sets currently on this site are from last year’s course, so they are not current. We hope to make this year’s updated slide sets available 2 weeks before the course.
HOUSEKEEPING:
Classroom temp can be cold! – At times the classroom temperature can be very chilly, so wear layers and BRING AN EXTRA SWEATER!!
QUIET PLEASE! – This cannot be emphasized enough – Side conversations with the person sitting beside you are extremely distracting to others in the class. This is a comment that comes up repeatedly in our course evaluations. Please avoid side conversations during presentations.
COURSE EVALUATION
To successfully complete this course you must attend the entire course and complete the on-line evaluation. You will be directed to your course completion certificate after completing the online evaluation. Please complete the evaluation no later than 2 weeks after the last day of the course. You will receive the link to the evaluation via email the week of the course.
