REQUIRED: ON-LINE MODULE ON NC INFECTION CONTROL LAWS AND COURSE EVALUATION
To meet the requirements of the NC .0206 Infection Control Rule, you must complete the module on NC Laws. The module on NC Laws is available on-line only. Please complete the module (which is approximately 30 minutes in length) before the first day of class. Click this link to complete the module.
The course evaluation link will be sent out on the first day of the course to attendees who have completed the NC Laws Module.

HOTELS
DIRECTIONS and VISITOR PARKING
Directions to the Friday Center and instructions for parking (and other helpful information) can be viewed here. A few days before the course you will receive a parking pass via email. Please print the parking pass and place it on your dashboard. Please note: After turning onto Friday Center Drive from Hwy 54, take the SECOND entrance on the right for visitor parking. (The first entrance on the right is the employee commuter lot and you will be ticketed if you park there.) Here’s an explanatory map about where to park and where not to park.
COURSE DETAILS
You must attend the entire course to receive course credit. No partial credit is given. Please arrange your schedule to stay until dismissal each day. You should also make arrangements for someone to attend in your place in the event you are unable to attend. Please read our cancellation policy.
Course check-in: Located just in the Atrium, please arrive for check in between 7:30 and 7:45. The course will begin promptly at 8:00 AM!
Dress: Casual, dress comfortably.
Classroom temp is cold! – At times the classroom temperature can be very chilly, so wear layers and BRING AN EXTRA SWEATER!!
Each attendee will receive a course notebook that includes slides from each lecture. In addition, a web page is available to course participants containing powerpoint PDFs, and other important resources.
HOUSEKEEPING
Breakfast, Lunch, and Breaks – Continental breakfast and breaks are included in your fee, and will be available in the Atrium each day. Lunch is included all 3 days of the course.
QUIET PLEASE! – We cannot emphasize this enough – Side conversations are extremely distracting to others in the class. This is a comment that comes up repeatedly in our course evaluations. Please avoid side conversations during presentations.
