Infection Prevention Education for all Nursing Home Staff

Basic infection prevention training for ALL nursing home staff in an e-learning format!

Course Content:

  • Breaking the Chain of Infection – Gowns and Gloves
  • Multidrug-Resistant Organisms – Gowns and Gloves
  • Safe Injection Practices – The Technique
  • Environmental Disinfection – PPP Infomercial
  • UTI Prevention in Nursing Homes – Gowns and Gloves
  • C. difficile Prevention in Nursing Homes – Gowns and Gloves

Directions:

  1. Read the statement of disclosures below.
  2. Go to https://spiceducation.talentlms.com and create a free account.
  3. From the course catalog, click on: Infection Prevention in Nursing Homes
  4. You must view all modules for CE credit (3.6 contact hours).

THIS NURSING CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY WAS APPROVED BY THE NORTH CAROLINA NURSES ASSOCIATION, AN ACCREDITED APPROVER OF  BY THE AMERICAN NURSES CREDENTIALING CENTER’S COMMISSION ON ACCREDITATION.
