NC Infection Control Curriculum Overview

In North Carolina, every healthcare organization that performs invasive procedures (including injections) is required to designate a credentialed staff person to receive infection control training and implement an infection control program. The approved infection control curriculum developed by SPICE prepares designated healthcare providers to implement the North Carolina rule, 10A NCAC 41A .0206 INFECTION PREVENTION – HEALTH CARE SETTINGS. SPICE Courses are designed to insure that health care providers meet this requirement. The NC Infection Control Curriculum is tailored for these settings: long term care, acute care, outpatient, dental and home health/hospice. Select the course the best fits your health care practice.
