NC SPICE recently produced two videos that highlight infection control procedures in the central processing department and for environmental cleaning of patient rooms. The videos are also available for viewing at no cost. SPICE Director Bill Rutala, PhD, MPH, and SPICE Associate Director, Evelyn Cook, RN, CIC lead the discussions in these settings. The videos are intended to educate IPs who are new to their role in the acute care setting, and can also serve as a good review for more experienced IPs.
