Infection Prevention Education for all Nursing Home Staff

Basic infection prevention training for ALL nursing home staff online and self paced.

Course Content:

  • Breaking the Chain of Infection
  • Multidrug-Resistant Organisms
  • Safe Injection Practices
  • Environmental Disinfection
  • UTI Prevention in Nursing Homes
  • C. difficile Prevention in Nursing Homes

Directions:

  1. The cost for the on-line course is $30 by credit card only (Master Card or Visa).
  2. Click here to register for this course
  3. You have 90-days from registration to complete this course. After 90-days, re-registration and payment are required.
  4. You must view all modules and complete the course evaluation for CE credit (3.6 contact hours).
  5. Read the statement of disclosures below.

Statement of Disclosures:

  • This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
  • Criteria for successful completion:  Participants must attend the entire course (all six modules) and complete the course evaluation to receive the certificate of course completion and CE credit.
